Bring Your Smart Phone and Earphones For This Tour! Your first stop will be in Maude's Mercantile gift shop for check in and instructions on how to open the QR codes for each room in our home museum. The audio tour option is great for solo travelers or those who found us last minute and couldn't make it in to the docent lead groups. This option is not great for children. Explore the history of the MacGregor Family and their home with our museum audio tour. Learn of the family's homesteading endeavors, the lifestyle of a ranching family, and the challenges and progression of this lifestyle. The museum is the former family home and the pieces within were the belongings of the MacGregor Family. Be completely immersed in the traditions of the past and the beautiful scenery of Black Canyon, just four minutes outside of Main Street Estes Park. You will be emailed a gate code prior to your tour after scheduling. Please remember to check the email you book with for your code. Please Contact us in Advance for Groups Larger than 5. Thank you! How to Plan for Your Tour: We are a Ranch! Please wear comfortable clothing; be prepared for rain, for sun, for wind! Comfortable walking shoes are encouraged, especially for the two hour Museum and Barn Tours. You will be walking on and through dirt, grass, and other flooring that is not always even terrain.
